From Skills Training to Entrepreneurship
Following the success of Hope Kitchen, DFW Refugee Outreach Services wanted to create another pathway for women to build financial independence through their own talents. For years, DFWROS has invested in sewing machines, skills training, and mentorship for women with an interest in sewing and tailoring. Hope Boutique was created to help turn those skills into income, entrepreneurship, and opportunity.
Led by Hiba Tanvir, Hope Boutique provides women with creative direction, designs, mentorship, and the confidence to turn their craft into beautiful, marketable products. Using unique ethnic fabrics, traditional influences, and hand-embroidery, these talented artisans create one-of-a-kind home and personal items, each handmade by local Dallas women who continue to sew hope into every piece.
